Privacy Policy

1. Short version

Calculations happen entirely inside your web browser. Salary numbers, rent, deductions, and other inputs you type never leave your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your financial data.

2. What we collect

• Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, page URL, referer, timestamp — for security and traffic analysis. Retained ≤ 30 days.
• Analytics (if enabled): anonymised page-view counts via Google Analytics 4. We do not enable user-ID tracking. You can block this with any standard ad-blocker.
• Advertising (if AdSense is enabled): Google may set cookies to serve relevant ads. EEA / UK / Indian visitors will be shown a consent banner where required by law.
• Service worker cache: static assets (CSS/JS/images) are cached in your browser for offline use. Cleared anytime via browser settings.

3. What we do NOT collect

• Email addresses or names — there's no signup
• Phone numbers
• Salary, CTC, PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, or any financial inputs you type
• Cookies that follow you across other websites (we don't set any first-party advertising cookies)

4. Your inputs are local

When you type your salary or rent into a calculator, the math runs in your browser via JavaScript loaded from this site. Nothing is sent to our servers. Refresh the page and the inputs are gone — we don't use cookies or local storage to persist them.

5. Third-party services

We rely on these services; they have their own privacy policies:

• Vercel (hosting) — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Google Fonts (typography) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Google AdSense (when enabled) — policies.google.com/technologies/ads
• Google Analytics (when enabled) — same privacy URL as above

6. Your rights (DPDP Act 2023, GDPR if applicable)

Because we don't collect personal data through the calculators, there's nothing to export, correct, or delete. For server-log requests, write to hr@staffixhr.com with the timestamp and IP — we will action within 30 days.

7. Children

These calculators are not directed at users under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected by bumping the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
